About the drum lessons
Richard offers friendly one-to-one tuition comprising rudiments, exciting rhythms and techniques. Students may choose to learn for fun or study the Trinity Guildhall exam syllabus for drum kit (100% pass rate). These examinations are universally recognised, being used in over fifty countries and are highly regarded as reliable assessments. Students also get the opportunity to play along with pre-recorded tracks and are welcome to bring CDs to lessons for help with the drum parts. Richard also teaches:

- Snare drum technique;
- Double bass drum pedal;

Richard teaches from his home during weekday evenings and Saturdays on his own acoustic kit equipped with volume reducing pads. Lessons can last 30 mins or 60 mins. Longer lessons can be arranged depending on the individual. Payment can be made on the day of the lesson or in advance.
